Which Breaker?

The great thing about standards is that there are so many to choose from ?
 
Well it says 50Hz right on the front so those are definitely AC for the Euro market. I wouldn’t use those for DC.

Try these, clearly marked DC:

More than double the interrupting current rating too (10K vs 4K).

Breakers have a much harder time breaking DC current because the voltage never drops to zero like it does with AC. And contacts get lightly welded together during a short circuit.
 
Agreed. It stinks that the standards document is pay-to-play.
That is how the companies that maintain the standards get paid. Corporations the use the standards pay that every time the standard changes, usually for multiple copies. I have a half dozen standards I use at work. It is a full time job for somebody making sure we have the correct standards to design too. UL, CE, ATEX. The list goes on and on.

That’s the nice thing about standards.
