Which of the solar/battery systems contain a solar inverter in the unit?

Hi,
There are many Inverter/battery systems available now for 220-240VAC mains.

As you know, they all have an inverter in them for connecting from battery to grid.
But how many of them contain an inverter for the solar panel output?

...or do most of them have a separate solar inverter near the panels?...and then the output of this connects to the mains in the house, which is connected to the output of the inverter in the inverter/battery unit?

Eg the Tesla power wall.....it must need an external inverter to be added to convert the solar energy to AC electricity.....so this can be run down to the Tesla power wall?

There are many different types of systems with lots of different brands/models for each.

There are a lot of inverters that only have battery input. Installs that use these usually also have a seperate Solar charge controller.
There are a lot of all all-in-one systems that have a battery input and a solar input.
There are AC coupled systems where there are inverters generating AC from the solar and separate inverters that generate AC from the batteries (or use AC to charge the battery). The systems connect at the AC. This could the the Grid AC or, more likely, a local AC that can continue to function when the grid is down.

As @FilterGuy said, there are hybrid systems. A Tesla Powerwall uses AC coupling. In that case it requires an existing grid tie inverter to convert solar to AC.
