I've run JKs flat out at 200A and measured temperature. Once my new lab is up and running, I'll see if we can redo some of those in a controlled environment and I'll share the results.

are you talking the heatsinks or the actual mosfets as RC was indicating. not to mention that transient heat events can damage things over a period of time as well..

No, we place our own sensors inside and also recorded temperature of the aluminium housing.

Edit: as soon as the new lab is running, I'm adding BMS testing to list of things to do. I'll be able to do destructive testing safely, so we can see what happens with shorts circuits etc. as well.
