Okay - this is going to seem insane - but a part of my setup has been running a shitty 1kW Renogy inverter for ~6 years and it hasn't had any issues until recently. The thing keeps shutting down and setting off the alarm even though the battery it's connected to is at a safe voltage.
What I'd like to do is the following:
Okay - this is going to seem insane - but a part of my setup has been running a shitty 1kW Renogy inverter for ~6 years and it hasn't had any issues until recently. The thing keeps shutting down and setting off the alarm even though the battery it's connected to is at a safe voltage.
What I'd like to do is the following:
- Toss the Renogy
- Replace with a 2kW Inverter/Charger that is smart-enabled and I can analyze its state from my phone over WiFi. It must be able to withstand -20C operating conditions.
- Lastly, I want to be able to feed it 120AC coming off a breaker connected to my 8kW Hybrid Solar Inverter, therefore making sure that it has continuous power in the event the batteries do get low.
