Will's Budget Friendly 24V Solar System--is this OK for AC distribution?

Generally, yes, 15A.

All items plugged into the power strip must use less than 15A total when in use, or the breaker on the power strip will pop.

Additionally, the plug into which the strip is plugged on the inverter likely has a similar 15A limit.

You would be better off wiring in recepticals to the inverter output if you have over 1000W inverter, but under 1500 will work on that power strip.
If your inverter is over 1500W, it depends on the loads you want to power.
