Wind deflector needed if behind rooftop AC?

I am working through different rack designs for mounting the 6x 265W panels on my school bus / skoolie conversion. The leading favorite right now is a side mounted rack, with vertical supports of unistrut attached between the windows, supporting an angle and unistrut frame. The roof is rather curved, so this will let me get everything flat and will avoid putting more holes in the roof.

If this stays the plan, I am wondering about the need for a wind deflector in front of the solar panels. On the outside edges on either side, they will be 8-10" from the roof = lots of room for air to get under them. That being said, they also will all sit immediately behind the rooftop AC. Wondering if that is a big enough flow disrupter? Really wish I had access to CFD software or a wind tunnel ;-)
