We got a ton of snow in Ohio earlier this week. Now a front is sweeping the country.

What are you doing just in case travel becomes difficult?

Travel becomes difficult? Where am I going?

I have a diesel excursion with 4wd and manual locking hubs.
I have a hummer h2 with full time awd
I have a nissan xterra with 4wd shifter on the floor
I have a jaguar e-pace with full time awd
I have a fisker ocean ev with full time awd

When push comes to shove, I will be able to get milk and bread from my local grocery store.

My sxs is road legal here. Worst case we bundle up and go braping. Can doors and a heater would make that more comfortable.

2ft of fresh powder here in my section of the Georgian Bay area in the past 48hrs.

Nothing really. Going out to play if it gets really bad.

I rearranged the garage and parked the bolt in the back with the tractor in the front. I pulled it in with the rear blade spun 180°, ready to back out if needed.
I also threw battery chargers on the truck and tractor.
I was going to get the quad ready to go but it still has the spray tank connected and the tires are shit in the snow (no siping on the lugs).

Other than that, life as usual.
Snow isn't supposed to be to crazy for my area, regardless I'm ready.

Hopefully everyone that gets dumped on stays safe, is ready and has fun.

Staying indoors for now, no reason to get out. They haven't even plowed the road yet. We've already had 4" here in NE Kentucky, and that's just in the last 2-3 hours. And it's not really going to let up until tonight when it's supposed to change over to freezing rain, then the fun really begins..

Got the batts recharged via the grid today just in case, they just finished getting topped off.

Here's some recent pics. Solar production is um, nil.

Why would they be open if you needed a hummer?

Looking at the radar the vast majority is going just south of me.

Northeastern just a bit south of the lake
Snow belt! That lake effect is really something. Here in Central Ohio (Delaware) we got about an inch or so overnight a couple of nights ago but nada today. I don't expect more than a couple inches tonight.
