Funny I had -6 yesterday!
Funny I had -6 yesterday!
Ive been in -20 ish at night before. That is so frigid. My old SUV was very unhappy to be started in such cold temps but it did start. The power steering screamed like a banshee for the first few miles until it warmed up a bit, despite having let it run for a few minutes before driving. My high temperature yesterday was -24°F.
It is currently 8 outside. I'm in a t shirt indoors (72). I grabbed the trash can from the curb this morning, no coat. Brisk! Wouldn't stay out long like that bit no wind to speak of so it wasn't bad.My Friday high is 56 with a low of 40, I will be bundled up like an Eskimo.
Today should be a long day, I'm 3 hours south of you and it's -10°F right now. This morning was around -17°F.I would be willing to trade you locations for the winter months?
Yesterday our high was -8f
At least we will go above 0f today as the worse of it looks to be over for now.
Still along ways away from records being set, but those -30f - -50f windchills do have a bite
Yep the temp is on the rise here as well with them SSW winds, stay out of the wind and its not so bad....Today should be a long day, I'm 3 hours south of you and it's -10°F right now. This morning was around -17°F.
That's impressive.. do you even have a snow shovel?ZERO solar production right now. I assume the roof panels are covered ... I aint going back there to look.

My kid is down in Biloxi, sent me pics of the snow in his backyard, looks about like yours. That's pretty cold and wet way far south. Only nice thing is it will likely be gone in 2 days. It's a balmy 26f here in southern Ms. What's a little strange is this....
Yeah its only snowed four times in the last 38 years. Two were hardly more than a dusting, one was about 3 inches and this time is looking to be a record. My kid is down in Biloxi, sent me pics of the snow in his backyard, looks about like yours. You've gotten more than we have here in Ohio. Jelly (but not really at the same time).10" in my front yard, an arm's length from the front steps. Still haven't ventured out to see what my roof looks like.View attachment 271818
Same here we got 4” Sunday night of light fluffy stuff, used the snowblower for the first time this season, even though it prob would have taken the same time to just shovel. You've gotten more than we have here in Ohio. Jelly (but not really at the same time).
