Wire way question

I purchased a Hoffman 6x6x72” wire way but the one they sent has tabs and screws,instead of just the screws. Does it matter on the orientation is it ok to have the tabs on the bottom?

If inside, you can mount it in any orientation.
It will just be a little awkward to install the cover.

I think it will look cleaner with the tabs on the bottom, what is the purpose of the metal clips that pivot on a rivot?. I have heard that you are not to mix ac with dc wires in the wire way? could you space out the wire way and run the pv and battery conduit behind the wire way.
I just want a nice neat install.

Separation is only required when the AC and DC are part of different systems. In your case they are part of the same system. So Separation is not required, adjacent to the equipment using both parts of the system.

I was able to get all the holes done ,I only had a problem with one of them but is workable. Now I have to cut the conduit stubs and hope every thing lines up.
Of course the different size connectors have different depths,between the 1/2 for the pv input and the 1 inch for ac in and ac out, 1 inch for battery terminals,and 1 1/4 for electrical box.
