Hello, I haven’t been able to find any clear information for connecting 6 batteries to one EG418KPv. This is what I have in mind. Can anyone show me my errors?
The plan is to make 3 banks of 2 batteries (EG4 wall mount 48v, 280Ah) wired in parallel (+ to + & - to -) using the 2/0 cables that are supplied with the batteries.
Each bank connected to + & - bus bars.
The bus bars connected to the 18KPv via two positive and two negative 2/0 wires.
The instructions show to, “Use a fused positive battery bus bar rated >=250a per battery or per inverter using Class-T fuses.”
I also see in another set of instructions, “Fused Positive Battery Bus Bar >= 500a Rated Min or >= 250a / Inverter. Class T fuses – 200a @ 58v.”
Not sure what they are saying.
Do I need 6 fuses, one on each + line from a battery?
One fuse on each + line from each bank or, one fuse in each of the 2 + lines to the inverter after the bus bar?
The instructions state that it is possible to use more than 3 batteries but there is very limited information as to how to wire them.
Does anyone have some guidance for me?
Thanks in advance...
