Xantrex Freedom 458 direct replacement - Newbie Questions

I takes two blue boxes.

DC-DC Charger:
12/12-30 Orion: https://www.victronenergy.com/uploa...Smart-DC-DC-chargers-isolated-250-400W-EN.pdf

MPPT:
100/50 MPPT: https://www.victronenergy.com/solar-charge-controllers/smartsolar-100-30-100-50

Battery Monitor: (unrelated to charging, but invaluable tool to monitor your battery state of charge)
BMV-702 or 712 if you want bluetooth: https://www.victronenergy.com/battery-monitors

Magic Box: (Ties everything together and gives online logging/remote monitoring/control):
Cerbo GX: https://www.victronenergy.com/panel-systems-remote-monitoring/cerbo-gx

If 600W is all you can manage, the Renogy DC-DC + MPPT may be the better option for you, and it cuts the Victron dependency cord; however, I would recommend the BMV-712 for monitoring.

Awesome. Now for the weather to turn so I can start installing stuff... Thanks for the input btw - Much appreciated. I'm doing power, suspension, and networking upgrades before we can head out on the road. Its a lot of stuff to keep track of.

Finally had a warm Saturday - Multiplus all installed and working great. The Xantrex being the issue was a little bit of a "best guess" on my end, so I was very happy that the Multiplus did the trick. The size and layout are such that all the cabling connected without issue. Now that I have the basics running I can start thinking about the fun stuff.
