Xantrex Freedom SW 3000

Hello,

Newbie here, first post.

Installing a Xantrex 3000 watt inverter charger to power my cabin in my very first solar power system build.

In all of the documentation which shipped with the Xantrex, no mention is ever made of using the product in anything other than a motor vehicle or watercraft.

So I'm wondering if there might be any compelling reasons to NOT install the Xantrex unit in a non-vehicle application.

Your thoughts?

If this is fully off grid I see no issue. I do see on their page how their "applications" only show in a vehicle and am not sure why they are saying that unless there is some certification missing that would prevent it from passing inspection if someone needed that.
