I have a pre-LFP Xantrex XW6048 with a Midnight Classic 150 charge controller. This is configured with 4-12 Volt gel batteries which I would like to replace. I'm looking at 2-48V Lifepower EG4 V2 batteries in parallel (200 total Ah). I'm not looking for a closed loop communication with the batteries. I would be interested in anyone who has accomplished this or similar and in particular what settings they have used for the inverter and charge controller. I have scoured this and other forums and here's what I've come up with as tentative settings:

Xantrex inverter settings: Suggested LFP values
Low battery cut out 48V
LBCO Delay 30s
High battery cut out 70V
Search Watts 50W
search delay 2S

Xantrex charger settings:
Battery type custom
eqlz support disabled
Bulk, absorb, float 56.8V, 56.8V, 54V
batt temp comp 0
battery capacity 200 AH
Max charge rate 55%
charge cycle two stage no float
recharge volts 50V
absorb time 0:02min

Classic and whizbang jr
Battery capacity temp comp 0%
temperature comp As low as possible
EQ ABSORB FLOAT limits 56.8V 56.8V 54V
input/output max current 100/100A
ABSORB EQ time 0:00
ending amps 0A

Any help is appreciated.

What's your usage profile do your batteries spend a long time fully charged and floating or do they cycle daily?

I use 55v for bulk, absorb, and float. Also 55v for EQ if EQ must be set. But I am a bit weird.

With 2 server rack batteries on an inverter that big you will be at some risk of the batteries going into short circuit protection mode when large loads switch on. I know one battery is not enough but I don't know if 2 is enough. 3 or more is recommended.

I'm grid tied so my usage profile is such that the batteries spend a long time fully charged and floating. Daily cycling doesn't happen.

Some other questions for 2-48V Lifepower EG4 V2 batteries:
1) Since my inverter is not supported how do I set my protocol DIP switches?
2) I assumed the ID DIP switches need to be set to ID:1 and ID:2 and the two batteries need to be connected with an Ethernet cable. Is this correct?
3) Apparently each battery needs to be charged to 100% separately before operation. I assume this is to prevent imbalance problems. Can this be done by taking each battery offline and charging the other one? Is there a better way?
