I have read in this forum that by installing a Lifpo4 battery in a Yeti 1250 generator it will work fine . Whell I have a generator and have 2 100 AH lithium batteries . One to be installed in the unit and another to be connected v ia Anderson connector . I just read somewhere that i will not work .???. I am comitted to seeing for myself. The 120 volt charger puts out almost 16 volts and I was thinking that to charge lithium batteries that this is the correct voltage for the purpose . Will it be enough to charge my new batteries? I will of course only charge 1 at a time to 100% . Then connect the two together . This setup will be to run my furnace in case of a power outage . Possibly a transfer switch between the normal poqwr and furnace . I'm just hoppung that the Yeti will fully charge the batteries

Can you provide a link to the exact yeti that you have and battery?

There are so many models of solar generators on the market - and small differences in model number make a big difference.

If possible, also upload all of the related manuals from their web site so that we are all looking at the same information with you.

I would urge you to make sure that the batteries are the exact same chemistry as what is inside or it can be a pretty bad experience.

16 volts is wrong for charging most batteries, so I am not sure exactly how to interpret this.
