Yes price is king!
Would like to share my ordering experience with Miaoxin Tie from Yixiang. Just as another reference to share.
This effort started after viewing a YouTube video from Andy's Off-Grid Garage about the Yixiang DIY box. Andy seemed to validate the authenticity of this particular Yixiang V2 DIY box. Previously, I was getting frustrated while searching the Alibaba sites. Meaning I'm not quite sure of what I would be receiving.
In my case I needed to prepare myself with the idea of ordering on Alibaba. The thought of receiving a bad cell and dealing with the return process meant an adding a couple spare cells to avoided further build delay. All in all, it taken me two and a half months to put my own trust issues aside about ordering thru Alibaba. During this time, I found Miaoxin Tie easy to work with and responsive to my endless questions. My method of communications with Miaoxin has been via email (
miaoxintie@gmail.com).

Just two technical concerns I have and will need to find my own solution during build process.
1) Lack of fusing in the Yixiang DIY V2 horizontal box.
Yes, at least it has the circuit breaker which I like as a disconnect, but a T-class fuse is missing since we are dealing with LFP cells. Thus, I will need to come up with my own external solution.
Just a note: I did notice the Yixiang grey vertical box had both fusing (ANL fuse?) and the circuit breaker. But in my view, it had additional concerns that took too much research time to invest to determine if mounting cells sideways was a good thing or not for the long term. Additionally, the grey vertical DIY box appears to be top heavy by design without a means to secure to a wall. So, I'm going horizontal since I can still stack three boxes within a reasonable space.
2) Double two hole terminals are not assembled by EVE (no dots).
Yes, I will need to trust that Yixiang has a good process of mounting double hole terminals to individual MB31 cells. Thus, I will need to take additional care to support the double hole terminals while applying final torque to individual flexible bus bars. I've taken noticed of the forum discussions about the potential of snapping off the entire "double hole terminal" when assembling flexible bus bars. This is a risk that I must except. Or at EEL (Howard), is advertising original EVE factory install double hole terminals (with colored dot) on MB31 cells.
So now, its time to order. Why must this process feel like its such leap of faith!
