Starting off small in the UK with a solar power system with lots of advice from Will's book and videos but you guys in the states are spoilt with the choice of gear, especially batteries. Available equipment is so dire here in the UK. Supply of the more 'cheaper' options like Chins just are not available. Shipping from the states is just not an option as it's so expensive. Does anyone in the UK have any suggestions for outlets providing a good supply of reasonable equipment at a fair price?

Not to mention that even worst of lower 48 states get more solar radiation than UK.
heck, even parts of Alaska get more sun than for example Manchester!

Same problem here in the Middle East. No options to buy locally, especially LFP cells. Other gear (inverters, SCCs etc...) are way overpriced. Shipping from China is madly priced for LFP cells and other goods (since they won't do sea shipping, everything is by air and costly).

Most U.S. , UK and Australia vendors will not ship here either.

That's why we have to put up with Aliexpress...

Similar problems here in Mexico, although "It's Getting Better All the Time". :)
