Your thoughts on my small, almost smart solar setup.

I'm currently overseas and come home every quarter.

Loads when I'm away:
1. Air pump for my fish tank with a battery-operated feeder that can last for 4 months.
2. Auto irrigation for garden plants.
3. Smart switches for the entire house lights at night.

Here's my current build:
1. 24V 3kW off-grid inverter
2. 24V 8S 200Ah LiFePO4 with a regular non-smart BMS
3. 2 x 550W solar panels
4. Volt/amp meter
5. Smart plug from inverter to ATS - Loads (Battery being primary, Grid being backup)
6. Smart plug from AC charger to battery (in case solar charging is not enough)
7. CCTV to view volt/amp meter

Issues remotely:
1. No access to each battery cell's status
2. I cannot turn off the inverter to put it to rest for a while; it's always on
3. I cannot manage charging more effectively

Plans: Upgrade to Daly WiFi smart BMS.
1. I can turn on/off the discharge/charge remotely directly via BMS.
2. I can switch off the inverter by turning off the discharge and turning off the AC charger remotely.
3. I don't need to see the CCTV to check the battery status.

Sounds good to me! I'm only shoreside myself about 4 months a year. Fortunately nothing needs to be on while I'm gone so I just shut everything off when I leave.
