Like myself, I'm sure many of you rely on honest youtube reviews of products.
Sadly there are a few companies who are suing people who point out shortcomings with the reviewed product as this guy YouTuber Stefan Fischer has just experienced.
Louis Rossmann has picked up on and created a video on this, if you don't know him, he has been communicating his displeasure at the deliberate practices of making expensive products either un-reparable, or only reparable by the company behind the product either physically or even threatening those who do repair the product.
There's a butload of stuff on youtube and online about this case, it has even attracted some international attention.
Australian Government testing of certain batteries produced by DCS, the company suing this youtuber have proven that DCS's batteries that were tested were the worst performing amongst the group of batteries in the tests, though the model battery in question was not amongst the Government tests, it's strong evidence that the company is producing sub standard products and should be outed for doing so.
The company DCS's website has been regularly down since, and they have removed the capture from their web based email form on the "Contact Us" page, if you'd like to make your thoughts known their email is info@deepcyclesystems.com.au.
As consumers who have limited resources and especially those who require products that will perform, since we rely on those products to keep our food cold and fresh and the lights or laptop/computer/phone running I believe it's important we send a message to this and all companies who think suing someone for an honest review is a good idea, it seems DCS will be out of business soon, which is sad for the employees, only those within the company responsible for this poorly thought out action are to blame!
There's also a case with another company that goes by the same name of DCS, an audio device company where a youtuber gave an honest review and someone in the company who started legal action against that youtuber was reportedly fired and the company has been communicating with the youtuber who is asking his followers to please stop attacking the company ...
