Looks like a new certification has been posted. Does this mean the EG4 18 KPV Inverter + Power Pro battery can now be installed with Permits in California? This is great news if true.

The shipping time has now been updated to early December (from late November) on Signature Solar's website. :(

Does the 18kPV have any Surge Protection Devices built in? I was not able to find any mention of this in the manual. For a full hybrid setup (multiple PV inputs, AC, generator and battery), what are the recommended locations for SPDs? Do I need them and if so, how many?
