Since my last post Ive upgraded a bit.Ive added 16 more solar panels and Im now running 4 Growatts and have 6 sets of batteries. Ive been 100% off utility for 3 weeks now. Wanted to thank everyone that helped with questions I had before.

Yes your correct mrzed I have my Growatt system set up that same way. Solar, then battery, then utility. If my system gets over loaded then itll switch to grid just like you said.

Im having a problem with my 48v units. I have 2 in split phase and my battery will last 3 min then the grid takes over the load and charges my battery then once fully charged back to battery the 3 min back to grid. I just used a wrench and did them really tight, my wrench didnt go low enough. I ordered a new torque wrench that will work. If the bolts are tight but not torqued right how does that cause a problem?

Yes I did each on its own. Do you think there cold be an issue with the batteries? I noticed in the manual (page 6) it mentions connecting lithium batteries BMS to the growatt RJ45 port. My batteries dont have a connection port. Could the problem that I have with only getting 3 min out of them...

yes the cables are the same length and everything is crimped. Ive checked all the connections and everything is tight.

No that never crossed my mind, the cables came with the battery. Could that help with them not staying in sync? Could that be causing me to only get 3 min of use from them?

Yes, I charged the 1st one until charger said full then started charging the 2nd until the charger said full. What do you think of what offgriddave had to say about the cable length?
