i have tried to update now my firmware to
040 06 104
041 06 104
still screen shows 0 from utility, while on my clamp multimeter it is drawing 2 amps, and my electricity counter is blinking
I have the SPF 5000ES. using in SUB mode, which should use utility when solar energy isn't sufficient. unfortunately, it doesn't function as it intend to. when solar energy is enough, on screen it mention 0 Amps drawn from utility, but in fact if you use a clamp current meter, you will see that...

don't count on how many amps is drawn from utility shown on inverter screen. when it shows 0 amps, i used a current clamp on my utility input to the inverter, it is continuously drawing 1.5 to 2 amps, even though I have sufficient solar energy. i tried to contact the support, but they never replied
be careful if electricity is expensive, i have spf 5000es, while it shows that it isn't using from utility when solar energy is sufficient, in fact it always draw 1.5-2 amps. you can check that at you brother place using a clamp multimeter to measure drawn current from utility
no u haven't understood the question*
it isn't normal to draw 2 amps from grid, when there is enough solar energy for load and charger, and showing on inverter screen that it is drawing 0 amps from utility grid.
unfortunately after updating firmware, datalogger now only blinks green led, not connecting to sever. tried to reset datalogger and add all over again, but always stuck on blinking green led.
AC idle consumption is not okay to be 2 amps, while this is the case. too much to pay for such feature. i'm sure this feature can be found on other inverter for less idle consumption. if anyone has experience with different solar inverter which has a fine SUB mode ?
while you don't use it, you can buy much cheaper inverters without this feature. SPF 5000 ES is famous because of the hybrid feature for blending utility and solar energy. disappointing growatt
not an option anymore when it draws that much idle power. if you find it an option, i'm sure most of users wont see it as an option when it draws that much of power. you must be living somewhere where electricity is cheap
t'inquiete pas. c normal de consommer ce ptit courant, comme g lu kelkpart que l'ecran et kelk equipment dans l'onduleur fonctionne tjs sur la batterie.il n'ya aucun risque
what you say is what it is supposed to do. but use a clamp multimeter on utility cable to measure the current. even when there is enough solar to power loads and charge batteries, it is drawing 1.5-2 amps from grid while on inverter it shows 0 amps from utility.
