So, I wasn’t sure what I was going to call this thread, what sub forum to specifically post it to, or if Dexter already started one but if he has I haven’t seen it. This started with a few phone calls to “CC” asking pointed questions about the SOK exterior rated battery box. I was asking sizes...

I received shipping confirmation last Thursday, and it arrived today at my work's shop. It was very well crated but I would be lying if I didn't admit that I was so excited to get it open that I forgot to take a picture. Once I got it mostly de-crated I researched how to wake up the batteries...

I agree the ballast mounts would be perfect for most job sites. Fill it with dug removal, have quick connect dc plugs for the solar that would stand up to repeated use. Have the system be a standalone battery generator, a battery solar generator, or have it preprogrammed to the existing...

That shop is what I work from (camper repair). This unit will power an off grid camper for now and ultimately run our home when I get around to building it. We are going to be selling our main house and getting back to basics a bit.

I didn’t wanna start another thread, but this arrived today. A touch over 1200 bucks delivered. It is used and is surplus but you would be hard pressed to show me that it was used past the initial setup time and the 1 hour twice yearly. The engine serial shows it’s a 2015. Apparently I can log...

Kinda I have them sitting on a pallet. They will be in place in a couple days. The camper has its own solar system for the onboard batteries only but I have no split phase capability on it internally to recharge this system. I will ultimately slide in a chargeverter in the new chassis so I can...

Thank you, I have a call in now and someone is reviewing the data.

I will have this sitting in its base soon and will add a few pictures. It’s still surreal just plugging something in and it working without fiddling. Of course for the diy forum I’m sure that’s half the fun, but for someone constrained on time this is the cats meow

That’s would have been a lot less pucker factor for sure.
  • Post in thread: Current Connected turnkey Micro-grid

It was important to me to have a movable, easy to use system that I can power my camper now, the house or at least most of it later, and upgradable when needed and this checks all of these and more. I can’t wait to be able to upgrade to the mounted heat pump that’s being made for this box in...

50 amp rv plug on left. Two twin gfci plugs on the right. The panel is a square d 200amp main feed through so one could utilize the 200 amp pass through feature of the inverter and wire an entire house completely through this system if it was desired.

I didn’t think it was a bad price at all. It’s effectively the price of one battery and gives the protection of the eg4 powerwall type system but with repairable batteries. In theory you should be able to use this with any rack mount batteries but I found it nice and tidy getting it all in...

That’s awesome, I wish I would have saw it first I wouldn’t have started a new thread. Shipping was great even the LTL guy was like nope it’s perfect when he let me know he was en-route. I can’t express how happy I am with this, even if you offered it in only one option list it beats...
  • Post in thread: Signature solar shipping time

Is ready to be shipped any difference then the awaiting shipment the order status has been showing on my end from like the 28th? I’m just curious if anything has actually changed. I suppose I kind of assumed with a product that would only be deliverable by pallet, that is only sold by the pallet...

Untouched this generator outputs 52.5 vdc with a drift tolerance listed of .5. I was able to confirm via dvm 52.5 is it. After adjustment I can pull a reliable no load 55.75 more or less. With a load I can go further of course but I think I would then error out if the batteries charged up enough...

I haven’t done any software change trials yet

@HighTechLab The manual made this seem kind of bad if I’m reading it correctly, is this just a fluke that needs reset, or what should I do something different? This is in battery 6, it still works but flashes Alarm in use. Thanks in advance
  • Post in thread: Current Connected turnkey Micro-grid

I do have it installed currently. The 52.5 default setting is a problem, one of which I haven’t decided exactly what to do about it. At first glance the system is controlled by a custom PLC and it’s locked except a user interface fed by a modem. The system is obviously completely designed...

So….an update. Panels came in yesterday and arrived perfect so far as I can tell minus one or two little scratches on three of the rims.
  • Post in thread: Current Connected turnkey Micro-grid

Yes, this is the base cabinet used for the system.

Id love to work through this with you and anyone else on the board. Hardware this is an exceptional deal I think. It has automatic oil change option and runs very well, it's a no brainer if I can make it more Lithium friendly. Your idea would work on the over and under PLC warnings, but...

@HighTechLab Will I gain anything/can I close loop these batteries with the inverter that I bought?
  • Post in thread: Current Connected turnkey Micro-grid

Looks like they are running the load through a dc dc golf cart speed controller Generator output is max 56 volts on the gen head. The dcdc golf cart controller appears to be programmable.
  • Post in thread: Signature solar shipping time

Any idea what the average shipping time frame is with these guys? I placed an order approximately two weeks ago and it still says awaiting shipment….i thought these guys were trying to do better? I have sent an email and of course no reply even after a few days. If there is a rep on here my...
  • Post in thread: Signature solar shipping time

Wow that was fast! Look forward to any update. Should be around 50 440 watt panels
  • Post in thread: Current Connected turnkey Micro-grid

So I got to playing with this thing today. I can adjust the no load voltage up to exactly 55.978 +- .014 without it throwing a critical error by a simple running speed adjustment. When I engage my battery bank and inverter with no ac loads I drop to 52.9 of course because they are charging. I...
