    Slow charging from Gas Generator

It's at 24V 400Ah Lifepo4 battery. The inverter maximum charging current is 60A, maximum MPPT is 40A, maximum utility is 60A. Inverter model is 1.5KVA 24V. It is not any particular brand, I think its a generic inverter, sold under different brands. See attached picture.

    Slow charging from Gas Generator

I have a 1 Kw Honda gas generator, but when I connect it to my charger, the input is around 200 watts. I have an all-in-one inverter/charger/MPPT. I have tried different settings on my inverter, usually the bulk to 28,0 - 28,4 and float between 27,0 - 28,0. I have tried all sorts of...

    Solar panels with different voltage

Hey! Are panels 12V or 24 volts? Isnt it up to the inverter what voltage range ut can handle? Im not in the US, Im in Norway. Isnt it hard to find a single panel over 60v?

    Solar panels with different voltage

Hi! I have 4 panels of about 500w operating at about 64V. I have two more small panels just lying around and I am thinking about mounting them in a western direction to get the morning sun, the others are mounted in a southern direction. The small panels are 125W 16V. I am thinking about...

Oversizing Solar Panel Array - can my inverter handle it?

So in your opinion, it's wrong that my inverter will get "fried" if I go above the 40A limit?

Oversizing Solar Panel Array - can my inverter handle it?

Great, thanks! But do you know why the specifications say max. 1000w PV Array Power but the maximum PV input is 40A? It doesn't add up. See attachment.

Oversizing Solar Panel Array - can my inverter handle it?

Hi and thanks again. It does get chilly in my region, every year 10-15 degrees below zero. But as I wrote, I have had no issues with the 4x275 panels for over a year in cold conditions. 64V + 10% is still only 70V.... And the Max. PV Array Open Circuit Voltage is 100Vdc. If I increase my...

Oversizing Solar Panel Array - can my inverter handle it?

Hi and thanks for your reply. The voltage range for the inverter is 30-80Vdc I have 4x275W panels, two and two wired in series. The voltage for each panel is 32V. Each panel is 8.61A so two in series will still be 8.61, but the voltage increase to 64? Times 2 is 17,22, so wel belowl 40A? I...

Oversizing Solar Panel Array - can my inverter handle it?

I have a Voltronic 24V 2400W all-in-one inverter and a 1Kw solar array. According to the manual, it can handle 1Kw of solar power. I called the dealer and asked about what would happen if I oversized my solar array and if this could damage my inverter. He told me putting more than 1Kw into the...

Max charging and discharginf for my cells

Hehe, of course not, but good to know the theoretical specs :) I want to upgrade my solar charging from 1000wh/40Ah to 2000W/80Ah and now I not that this will not be a problem for the cells. Discharge 2400W. Thank you for your help!

Max charging and discharginf for my cells

    Ok, I have a 24V battery-pack. So I can charge with about 10Kw and discharge with 20Kw???

Max charging and discharginf for my cells

I have 16 cells 3.2V 202Ah in an 8S2p setup. The charge speed is 1C and the discharge is 2C. With how many Ah can I charge and discharge?

    Paralell strings of solar panels

That's not much :) Is this the best-case or worst-case scenario?
