I just tested my LV 6048 this morning and it was using 35 watts. Did you know I can turn off the inverter LV6048 and still charge the batteries? Learning new things every day :)
The specs look like MPP LVX-6048 other than the weight 16 kg versus 26 kg. The heavier the inverter the better it is build. I also like buying from Taiwan rather than China.
In Alberta, Canada 80% of my bill is a connection charge. 20% is usage charges, maybe 30% if I bring in over 1000 kWh. I added another 4000 watts to my south wall to see if I could make it throughout the winter on solar electricity. Nope. Now, 2/3 of my energy does come from my vertical panels...
The lv only allows for 150 VDC but has 2 MPPT inputs compared to the lvx which allows for 450 VDC MPPT but only has 1 input.
I hooked mine up to 240 AC input, but I think there is the 120V AC option.
You have to enter the Part Number that starts with a W..... then connect your phone's wifi to that wifi access point and then hopefully it will ask for what wifi access point you want to connect the W... to. Mind connected to my home wifi and it still has the W... wifi still broadcasting it's...
In Canada our leader JT is trying desperately to get us off carbon. $70 / tonne is our current carbon price. $150 by 2028. For 10 GJ of gas I pay $50 just as one tax :)
Same in Alberta Canada 10 kWh maximum. Has anyone done a study if it better to be off grid? I figure it costs less the 6 cents / kWh to go in and out of the Lishen 280Ahr batteries.
Using the SolarPower program is hit and miss. It seems the china's servers priorities Chinese data.
My updates come in 5 minute intervals when the data is be transferred. Works less than 30% of the time
Ask me a bitcoin question, that is my forte. :) Yes 240 AC is 180 degrees out of phase. The neutral is at most 5V off depending on which leg has more current. I was going to mention the LVX 6048 is UL listed and does allow for grid tie. and grid input.
The Solarpower app uploaded data all day yesterday for both me and my neighbor. Today it is not working again. Today was the first time I couldn't use the app to change the LVX6048 settings. Normally that always works. Too bad the Solarpower app wasn't more reliable.
If you don't mind pushing the on / off button you can charge your 48V batteries even if the inverter is in off mode. So it doesn't use the 140 Watts standby power. Then if you need the extra ac power you can turn the inverter on.
This Solar Power desktop app seems to run on Ubuntu 20.04 which uses openjdk version "16.0.1" I haven't connect the micro usb to my laptop yet to input data. Curious if some got this working.
5000 Watt grid-tie inverter for sale
I bought this inverter 8 years ago, but it wasn't keeping after my 6000 watts pv input so I removed 2 panels during the summer months. I now have hooked up my panels to the MPP LVX-6048 and it can handle the 6000 watts -- so I don't need this anymore. Is it...
Does the LVX6048 have the "limiting" option? I was going to put in a fuse / circuit breaker between my solar panels and the LVX6048, but I don't see a 27 amp fuse on Amazon. What are people using?
info from MPP. The no load power consumption is in between 25- 40 watt.
but I find this page easier to find the specs https://voltronicpower.com/en-US/Product/Detail/InfiniSolar-VII-6KW-(Split-Phase)
My Hybrid LV 6048 arrived today and that is what the manual says Hook up to grid or no grid it is up to you. It costs my C$1580 and 3 weeks of time. Peggy was great. Mind you the manual says to use a 40 Amp AC breaker and yet it also says I can use a #10 wire. I guess I really need some...
I do like that the power wall is using 16 cells in series and the Anderson 50 connector. The 100kg package seems right given my last LiFePo4 cells were 6 kgs each
Well I tried to parallel my 2 lvx6048 inverters via adding 2 $55 parallel boards and change section 28, but all I did was get an error message DC/AC inverter circuit error so I when back to using one inverter in the charging only mode. I hope to get more courage next week to try again. I did hit...
I ordered 20 200Ah Sinopoly Batteries and they have been stuck in the Vancouver Port since the start of covid. I have heard every excuse in the the book.
