Please look at the photo again , there is an other wire connected to one ploarity of contactor so it can be detected any charger voltage available on your battery pack so that reconnect the contactor without you need to disassemble pack. also it is mentioned in user manual that after protection...

yes 100 pcs is suitable for 25 packs of 4S it is sufficient for 8 devices (each required 3 packs) and 4 cells for reserve! using 12S results to a single heavy battery bank weight! also we try to build replacement of Gel battery already they used with least change in mind of customers also try...
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

Guys, I knew that single 24V , 36V or 48V packs are better choice in comparison with different 12V packs to be wired in series! from balancing point of view! but please pay attention to different subject: 1st and most important thing is changing marketing tast is really difficult and every...
  • Post in thread: Lithium starting battery for boat iam so confused!

I think they don't use contactor! instead they use BMS rated for short time high current that's why they limited time to 3, 5 or 8 seconds. Here are Daly starting battery BMS!
  • Post in thread: Lithium starting battery for boat iam so confused!

Hi there ! I've confused ? with Dakota starting battery datasheet! they mentioned in their datasheet that it has 1000 CCA ( cold cranking amper) for "DAKOTA LITHIUM DL+ 12V 60Ah BATTERY" but also it mentioned that maximum discharge current is 750A for only two seconds pulse! as I knew CCA is...

But here are some of my questions about this BMS if anyone could answer I would be appreciated: 1- In the user manual is mentioned that using these BMSs in series or parallel are not allowed? Why ? because there is 900V, 500A contactor ! it is not mosfet based bms that limit you on drain sorce...
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

We purchased 100 cells of EVE and test all of them for capacity! All are above 280Ah , good shape and no major scratch, all relatively new and their production date in first quarter of 2023 ! their named A- grad! ( cells not directly bought from factory or kept more than 3 month without company...
  • Post in thread: 2 8s bms in series

Actually Daly 8s 100A BMS use high quality 100V, 150A@25°c , N channel mosfet with Rds(on)=4mohm, so in the theory you shouldnt have problem to series them But it doesn't yet recommend in its datasheet to series them but according mos spec and as William tested it I dont think there was a...
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

Thanks for sharing good ideas to overcome this issue but we just rebalanced the cells and packs to see what happened in the future also we adjust the balancing to be started at lower voltage around 3.3V/cell instead of previous 3.48 V/ceIl (non-effective way) , Although we think that good grade...

can you introduce me a battery bank balancer , can you share a link of such balancer model for 12V battery banks?
  • Post in thread: BMS with built-in relay?

Hi There, you can understand Thomas explanation here under better but it is for 12S , at which demonstrate how you can correctly connect 20S BMS to only 12S cell string , It has been sent to me by "Emily" JBD sales person.

yes you are absolutely right! After we experienced this issue we sort cells with relatively similar discharge rate in single packs but still in bulk production you can not garantee that similar bank to be used as series! and it realy might be possible that different battery banks to be series...
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

We're experienced that the issue isn't related to match capacity of the cells instead it is related to voltage drift of the cells and different self discharge during long time ! we couldn't check dynamic internal resistance measuring but we measured at first cells IR and all of them somehow are...
  • Post in thread: BMS with built-in relay?

Please share us your experiences if you used it specifically if you connect it to a large inverter or capacitive loads also if used directly or via DC/DC to power up dc motors!
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

I meant "self discharge rate" because 4 wire internal resistance measuring devices can't reflect real discharge rate and only show static internal resistance that can't so helpful because most of the cells have more or less similar resistance in our tests!
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

I'm curious ? to know more about such a BMS with master/slave wireless comunication to balance all three packs cells with respect to each other! if you know such a bms or have a link about it please let me know!
  • Post in thread: failed EVE LF280 after 150 cycle!

I checked it but they have some Master/Slave BMS comunicate with each other by means of serial connection like CAN bus or RS485 and wifi only used for comunication between monitoring center and BMS! I'm looking for a Master/ Slave BMS that their "comunications between individual bms " will be...

We used our LFP battery on both ride on "T7, T16" and Walk behind "T300, T500" models of Tenant already worked fine for more than two years !☺️
  • Post in thread: Lithium starting battery for boat iam so confused!

So you meant that they used equivalent lead acid battery cca rating in comparison! Anyhow does anybody know the cell that Dakota used in their starter series battery? it seems that their lifepo4 battery cells have high C rate higher than 10C, at which a 60 Ah cells can deliver near 800 A ! (at...

1-What configuration are these battery packs 4s, 8s,16s ? I've already mentioned in the previous post : 4S, but to be more detailed it is 3x4S packs in series ! 36V nominal ( 3×12.8= 38.4 V) 2-What BMS are you using for these ? (provide link if possible): JBD 4S, 150A smart BMS , equipped...
