I'm living off grid and have a little 4 panel REC 410 watts system already running for the shed. I've used 2 150/70 victron controllers for this and a battery storage bank of 6 x 12V lead acid batteries. It works beautifully
Current or Future Solar Power System
I have 8 x 410 watts REC solar panels and am now trying to figure out what size Victron MPPT controllers I need. I would like the right controller for 4 panels because i'd like to have two independent systems for safety. If one fails or gets damaged for whatever reason, I've still got the other half running. I intend to use a storage bank of 48V AGM batteries, because I'd like to integrate a 48V-240V inverter.
