Mr. Cinergi,
I have two questions which I would love to hear your thoughts on.
1) Since you do not have a generator, why quattro over multiplex?
2) Do you have more batteries than you need by a large factor
3) If you had only 120 volt needs would you have gone with a single larger 10k...
Thank you for more than answering my two questions
Do you mind telling us (off topic apology) what program you used to prepare your diagram. I am going to copy much of your HARD work and thank you very much. If you want and are willing to share your diagram in its original base format it...
they have similar much smaller units and also lesser quality (cheaper) units all made by KingClima under the brand eclima..... I have a wonderful contact who has helped a lot.... Danny Wu.....

I plan to buy one ... they have a big caveat on the "dehumidification" mode, saying not to use it all the time.... and that is bugging me as it should bug anybody who lives in a humid place. Thoughts on this? It is also NOT an inverter unit... it is either all on or all off.
check out the eclima units particularly the 6000 and 3000 http://www.climaac.com/d/files/Products-E-Clima/E-Clima6000/Eclima6000S(12V24V)%20-%20KINGCLIMA%20Industry-%E5%9B%BD%E5%86%B0.pdf
i am going all dc if i can also i sure will be watching what you do
Dear Mr. Saint.
I have looked through your list and it is nearly identical to mine. I have a question: and this should be in the beginners page where I belong. Here it is: Don't you need the AM Solar Smart Phase Selector (SPS) along with the quattro?
I have read the manual ten times and...
Do you mind sharing where you got that wicked deal.... I might be going that same direction exactly. Also, is your set up part of a post here.... I would like to study it.
thanking you for your hard work helping us all
Actually starting to look better provided it fits under my tilting panel assembly. If using the ac, the panels would be tilted up anyway.
Mr. Zwy or anybody else reading, have you located a split with a horizontal condenser on the roof????
That is what I need and want.
If you know of any...
I believe the 3000 unit has a max typical continuous draw of 700ish watts when at full power.... Mr. Wu or somebody with experience could confirm or deny.... I think that is what the Nomadic equivalent of the 3000 specs out at.... although I am far from an expert and not even sure I am not...

Here is the 48 volt version of the same unit.... https://www.premierproducts.net/order/premier-air/turbo-2-12v-and-48v.html
along with power usage and temp delta... and heat chamber test which I don't quite understand. Recpro is only selling the 12 volt version
Michael, I am plotting to install two 120 volt mini split on my old 1980 31 foot wanderlodge. I read somewhere you drive a wanderlodge. Do you mind telling me where you put your two compressors and how you mounted them??
Now that you have had two for a while how is it working out????
Any...
Hello. I am looking for opinions from the many here who have experience with a decision I am currently making.
I have a 31 foot Bluebird.... big front window, side windows, decent insulation.... it lives in an environment (the rainforests of Belize) which is hot and humid day in and day out...
Mr, Saint I am very interested in your schematic and any photos drawings you are willing to share. I think I may be copying you!! Thank you for sharing
I am considering replacing my three 120 volt dometic 15k btu air conditioners (approx 1500 watts requiring the generator) with these 24 volt dc units which have a maximum draw of a little less than 1400 watts each (half that once the temperature is stabilized). The pdf with the specs is:

Mr. Ham.... I am confused by this.... and it is relevant to me because if I go this way my problem is that I have a 120 volt single phase 5.5kW generator which I want to eventually replace with batteries alone charged by solar and alternator .... but until that is done (say a year) I want to...
Charles, I am planning the nearly identical system, probably 3 months behind you. I can't wait to see what the experts here say.....and then to watch what you do.
Right now I have decided to focus on 24 volt roof mounted air conditioners because I am not yet comfortable with a 240 volt mini...
Guys, I am finally going to buy two extra batteries from Oupes for a Oupes Mega 3 (https://oupes.com/products/oupes-mega-3-home-backup-portable-power-station-3600w-3072wh). The Batteries are each 2048 watt hours.... The Batteries (https://oupes.com/products/b2-battery) have their own...
I am going to be watching everything you are doing as I will probably copy everything except that I want to depend on victron as I can get parts where I live. Depending on how things work out for you I may copy you exactly. THANK YOU for posting. Your hard work helps me a lot.
Rob
This was hugely helpful.
Thank you....
Guys, is it safe to say that the high SEER mini splits will always deliver more cooling than roof mounted DC air conditioners for the same amount of energy at this time? I maybe should abandon my quest for the perfect dc unit and make a mini split work.
Thank you. I saw this and am panning on the gorilla tape.... One reviewer made this mistake and plugged the solar input into the output and fried some parts!!!! Another similar brain fart issue..... it seems to me that 12 volt ac's are out of the question with Oupes as the 12 volt outputs are...
I am thinking that this new product is just what the doctor ordered to allow me to charge my lithium batteries using my bus alternator.
This may be a disruptive game changer product. Pl watch this video
I am combining it with
20kWh NCM Samsung Bank (with room for 10 kWh more if necessary...
i am probably getting an Eclima product (3000 or 4000) if I can determine that they are as efficient as a solid mini-split very good pricing and very similar to nomadic..... http://www.climaac.com/products/e-clima-series/e-clima4000-sleeper-cab-ac.html
