That did it! At least for now and at least for me in my case. Forced discharged .1Kwh from battery and then it started drawing from battery and not from grid.

I am curious that is all. If it is actually 97%, then it is a waste to pull from the grid that 3%, which will add up eventually to a lot of power.

Now that Sun is up, and PV started generating, Battery is not being charged. Looks like exporting has priority? How to make sure battery has priority for charging?

I have the same firmware and confirm, I am having the same issue. I have emporia sensors directly underneath the meter can and see that when I have offgrid mode enabled it only pulls 18W but when offgrid mode is disabled it wants to pull almost 1000W or more.. and at times I have seen 4000W...

Looks like somebody from EG4 changed my battery percebtage to 101%. It now charges to 100% and keeps it at 100%.

Firmware fAAB-1717 Downloaded PDF manual from website, while it describes what each mode does, I don't see where it says which buttons to toggle to achieve those modes or did I overlook it?

It is a digital meter, so no spinning. But yes the numbers add up. Meter and emporia agrees on what is being pulled. I also have a sense on the load center. Math adds up just fine if I put 18kpv in offgrid mode. Didn't mean to hijack the thread. But there is something going on, and I am sure...

This would have made sense if the battery kept going between 100 and 99, topping off and sampling. But assuming this is correct, when would the battery have started charging? 95%, 90%?

Did he tell you how long the "transition time" is? I stared at that screen for at least 10 mins yesterday and didn't see it go down. Also, different tech seems to have different explanations for strange behaviors? I was told they are looking into it since what I am experiencing is not normal.

Why did it not keep at 100%? You see the screenshot I sent showed it at 97% and the inverter chose to sent power to grid as opposed to topping off the battery to 100%.

Mine is at 100%. Wondering what EG4 has to say about 101%. Would there be an over charging/over heating situation that is bad for battery?

Colt from EG4 is already working on my issue, since nathandeb is also having the exact same issue. What is the best way to let Colt (EG4) about this? May be he can look at both of our settings and do some comparison.. see what is common among us that is different from the rest of the 18k out there.
