I'm an electrical service tech. I work in an industrial environment with 3-phase power, complex control circuits, variable speed drives, encoders, PLC's, load cells, etc.
I have recently gotten into electrifying all my toys. Crazy cart upgrade is done and currently researching the equipment to convert my dune buggy.
I just finished replacing a bms on a 36v pack and would love to get some advice from the community.
Current or Future Solar Power System
I have had solar panels on various properties i've owned for 25 years. I currently live on 5 acres in north western Sydney, Australia. When I moved in I immediately got a 3-phase 5kw system installed and then a couple of years later I got another 3-phase 30kw system. Pretty good having 35kw to offset our usage but I am keen on a DIY battery solution. The problem is the 3 phases. I love the YT channel Off-grid Garage and am really inspired by his enthusiasm for his hobby.
