It's not mine sadly but this is just a great DIY solar tracking ground mount. It's French with English subtitles. The engineering is well worth the watch.
I agree - expensive but for those who dont want to get their hands dirty its the best out there as its 120v/240v ready without having to buy two units like the Ecoflow Delta Pro or Bluetti. I will stop now as this is the "DIY Forum" ???
Crikey, you guys are getting shafted for data in the US. I run a 4g internet supply business here in rural France installing Huawei routers and high gain antennas pulling around 75mbps download speeds. We can buy 300gb of data per month for 15 Euros ??
My MG Marvel has bidirectional charging. It has a 70kw battery and can discharge a maximum recommended 3.2kwh but I have drawn over 5kwh with no issues. It's not designed for Vehicle to Grid just Vehicle to Load. We are using 230/240v here in France for everything as standard mains supply.
Hi Guys, just a little direction so I can advise my very professional, but not solar experienced, electrician. I am in France with a 230v 9kw grid feed coming in. I am installing a 7.2kw AIO Orient Power ( EG4 clone) with 5kw of solar and, at present, no batteries. I am still confused about...

They also have a USA site. They are Jakiper batteries with Orient Power rebranding.
David Poz reviewed them :
I live in France and own an MG Marvel which has a 70kwh battery and V2L. We had a 30 hour power outage recently and ran my Gas Combi Boiler for heat/water, 2 fridges, freezer, TV, internet and lights no problem at all from the car. Combined maximum draw was less than 1.5kw and I only used 3% of...
And of course with a modern AIO you set the priority of the feed in the software. SBU (solar, battery, utility ) or SUB ( solar, utility, battery). The inverter then does it for you automatically without any transfer switches etc.
Complete beginner here guys but learning quickly ! I have an Orient Power 7.2kw 230v inverter ( it's basically an EG4 clone ) that will be coupled to 12 X 400w panels but no battery initially ( inverter can run without battery ). I live in France and we have a 9kw incoming supply from the grid...
You can put 500v through each mppt (pv1 and pv2l). So if you have 2 strings of panels the maximum voltage combined of each string is theoretically 500v but keep it to 450v to be on the safe side.
I am talking mobile data here Guys, not cable or fibre. We use 4g enabled sim cards in our routers and the routers can also make regular telephone calls with the "calling" side of the sim card. We can get unlimited data for 50 Euros.
I install 4g routers and antennas here in rural France. Just pm me if you need any help. You will probably struggle in winter for power using solar. How far from the house is the 4g signal ?
I have one of these. It's an EG4 but rebadged and designed for 230v EU supply. Great back up from the company and stocks in Germany. It's part of the Jakiper group. https://www.europe.opsolarbattery.com/product-page/split-phase-inverter-230vac-50hz-48v-7200w
I am in France and works flawlessly...
Buy an EV with bidirectional charging like mine !!! You can make a lead to plug into the gen port on your inverter and it "sees" the EV as a generator. With my 75kw battery it's a no brainer. Running a 2kw oven in the image here and had no issues running my mini splits during a power cut...
https://www.outdoorrouter.com/product-category/outdoor-cpe-router/outdoor-4g-lte-router/uk-4g-outdoor-router/I recommend this outdoor router with poe (power over ethernet) capability then. We install these in situations like yours . Not cheap but cheaper than solar/batteries etc as it's an all...
Strange the difference in strategies between the US and here. The 4 main carriers here in France offer landline AND mobile solutions and they control the whole of the market. Legislation ensures that if you buy a "mobile" plan you can use the card in a 4g router for "home" internet which is how...
