Background
In live in the EU, have a bussines degree from uni and worked in an internet start up for about a decade, not related to solar at all, so far I come to understand the basics and purchased the book Mobile Solar Power Made Easy, read a few parts of it but not all yet, have not installed a system myself yet but as I mentioned above bought one before a few years. I leave in a fairly sunny place, with average sunshine of 9h per year, but only 6h on winter, a calculator on the internet mentions that in my location in the worst winter, December, the average energy production is of 4.09wm2 but it does not mention what is the lowest energy production on December, I am troubled by this because I intend to install only one battery thinking of the Soc 100ah 12v but according to my calculations the small dorm static freedge needs 375wh per day so if I have 4 cloudy days with a low energy production of 50w I will run out of energy so I have to find out what is the average daily energy production in my location. I am also wondering if the Jinkha solar panels are good and what is my best option regarding the inverter and charge controler because I want to have the capacity to expand a little in the future, other questions I have are: What would be the start up rise for the fridge? Can I buy a better energy co consumption fridge of less than 137kwh per year for about 250 eur? So far I am thinki g to buy a static freedge but I dont understand if I can use other appliances while the compressor is off, I am told it will work only 8h a day but that is allready compounded in the 137kwh. So far the best advice I got from Will Prosse videos. Thanks.
Current or Future Solar Power System
For an off grid cabin I have purchased a whole system from a local company that supports a few led lights and a small fridge and paid around 5000 eur for it, it was not diy at all but it does what it was supposed to do, now I want to install a diy system at another off the grid location that can support a small fridge 137kwh per year and maybe a computer or a tablet this time as a permanent residence.
