    Solaredge SE7600HD tripping finally solved

For several years I've been researching why my Solaredge inverter was tripping, mostly from 10AM to 2 PM during sunny days and usually during cloud edge peaking. I started seeing "ARC Detected" on the inverter alarm log using Setapp. I have an SE7600HD and a 7.04 kw system with 20 panels. These...

    SolarEdge Optimizer Question

That optimizer never allowed power production like the one removed. Tried cleaning connector, as well. I replaced with new one from SolarEdge and now it is back to the best performing panel, again. I quess all optimizers are not created equal! I'm going to try and return it.

    SolarEdge Optimizer Question

Using the layout and analysis screens. It's supposed to be partly sunny tomorrow, so may be a good test.

    SolarEdge Optimizer Question

I have P401 SolarEdge power optimizers on 8 - 370w bifacial panels. (P400's on 12 - 340w non-bifacial.) For almost a year the SE7600HD inverter would trip and restart on days when there was a lot of cloud edge power peaking. I narrowed it down to one of the P401 panel/optimizer using the...

Sol-Ark 15K AC coupled setup to reduce grid supplied power

It is: US 240V No-Neutral. If you have a neutral there is a grid code listed for that, as well.

Sol-Ark 15K AC coupled setup to reduce grid supplied power

I have a Sol-Ark 12K with a SolarEdge SE7600H AC coupled to the Gen input breaker and have not had any issues. I have grid code 14 on the SolarEdge and with the grid protection set at 60.5 Hz the unit will receive a 60.5 Hz signal from the Sol-Ark in one second and shut down.

    EG4-6500 system starting 4 ton A/C

Either at the contacts or in the load panel. I put it in it's own metal box close to the pressure switch. It does get warm so I wanted it isolated. I have a 3/4 HP 240V pump and they sent me an SL22 4R014.

    EG4-6500 system starting 4 ton A/C

I was was looking at a soft start for my 2.5 ton A/C last year. I found a company called Ametherm that makes NTC thermistors that are designed to lower inrush current. NTC = negative temperature coefficient. Sent the nameplate data to them and they sent me 2 to try for free. Only need one and it...

    Sol-Ark questions

Can you explain how the Sol-Ark responds when Power is set to 9000, 50% on battery and charge selected? Using Limited to load. Thanks!

    Time of Use setup recommendations

If a time period had Power at 8000, Battery at 50% and charge selected would the system get confused at the 50% point?

    Sol-Ark questions

Today I just started using My Sol-Ark 12K in Time of Use mode. At 5 PM I have it set to 9000 watts, Battery at 25%, no sell or charge checked. Limited to Load, Time of Use and Grid Sell in upper left corner of screen checked. When my furnace started I noticed that the Emporia Vue I have...

    Time of Use setup recommendations

Thanks for the time you took to type all this! It helps! With my usage and battery size during the winter I could probably go 24 hours on the batteries alone with not much sun. In the summer with no sun, it would, also, be close. I could tweak a few areas and monitor the results. I like the idea...
