Well, I hooked it up to my old inverter/charger that doesn't allow for custom charge settings and so far it's charging just fine. I guess that narrows it down to the Freedom XC being bad.

It only has absorb and float settings.

Yeah I agree. I was bench testing it so it's plugged straight into home 120v. I'm wondering if there's something in the inverter/charger itself that is doing it. But the display on it still shows its charging, it's just not moving any amps.
