You can see on youtube, australian overlanders with caravans using anderson connectors between car and caravan, going trough deep water crossings. It seems to be in common use. The same as connector for roof top solar in rain and water splash.

Late comment..But i was also sitting watching the app and concluded with a smile tha solar amps in become almost 3 times amps to the battery. Love good MPPT. Yes all victron in this setup. Almost same result with Epever in a second setup. Clear blue winter sky -7C/19F..Pumping. Probably cloudy...
