Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

Load consumption is what I’d be importing if the solar wasn’t producing anything and the battery had run down, so it’s all connected in one way or another. Nonetheless those clamps calculate readings, so it’s quite possible the clamp is faulty.

Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

It still happens after the battery is charged from solar production. Could it be a faulty ct clamp giving incorrect readings?

Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

Thanks for your reply. Could you explain with a bit more detail please on what I need to do, my tech expertise is rather limited 😂

Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

Load consumption shouldn’t be increasing when solar production goes up. For example, if my property is using 0.4kwph when the sun comes out it increases to 1kwph, but the property is not demanding any more than when it was using 0.4kwph. So why would that be?

Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

As you can see with the screenshot my load consumption goes up and down in line with solar production from 9.20am, which I've been having for the past couple of days. Very unusual.

Solar system drawing power on sunny days?

Hi. I have a Growatt 500SPH inverter with a 6.5kw Growatt battery. In November last year I had 2 strings of 6 and 12 x 430W panels replaced under warranty. I have started to notice something odd these past 2 days, which have been very sunny. When I check the Growatt app to see how much power I'm...

Ampage question that NAPIT cannot answer.

If anyone is interested I have just had all 18 panels replaced by the installer. It has just transpired that not only did I have a voltage issue my annual production total was down by 1/3 to what I was originally quoted, just over 2100kw shy. Apparently the panel manufacturer, Eurener, have...

Ampage question that NAPIT cannot answer.

Thanks for your reply. I agree, although NAPIT sees it as an acceptable solution if they work, which I find baffling as I see this as the installer putting a plaster over their mistake and hoping it will work, given the fact that TIGO's arent designed for this application. As it stands the...

Ampage question that NAPIT cannot answer.

I do have another south facing roof, However, its lower and prone to shading from a tree. From the very beginning of this rather sorry affair I've wanted those 6 panels replaced. You'd think that's easy, right? But trying to deal with a company that has very poor communication and believe they...

And for 40 mins the 2nd string didn't produce while waiting to get back up to 150v :-(

Ampage question that NAPIT cannot answer.

Thank you so much for your response, I will definitely forward the thread to them. And yes, your last comment is spot on. Not only that they refuse to accept any of this is their fault, hence me contacting NAPIT to help resolve the situation. However they are dragging their heels on the matter...

Ampage question that NAPIT cannot answer.

The 1st string of 12 is on a roof facing west, the 2nd string of 6 is on a roof facing south. There is not enough space on the south facing roof to add another panel. My ideal scenario would be to replace the 2nd string with higher voltage panels, however my concern is the amp parameter of the...
