No it’s DC and yes it is positive on the + side At night the controller is actually draining batteries unless I disconnect the +pv terminal

The feedback is coming from the controller it’s not connected to anything except the 24 v battery. When disconnected from everything left for 1 hr the voltage drops to zero at the +pv. When powered up by the battery terminals +pv has 156v battery + 25v
