Since converting to 24v, I have been having this problem of low voltage cut-off caused by one specific battery cell it seems...
I have checked and tightened all the busbars and BMS connections, but not sure what else it could be - balancing?
The cell on low voltage charges up and balaces well...
Can i use just the first 4 wires from my 24v Daly bms to control overvoltage on my new 12v battery?
It only looks at single cell voltage doesn't it? And will stop the charging if any one cell goes above 3.65v (max).
Only using 100A/hr battery and 500 watt inverter
I have two sets of 24v 90A/hr batteries, one old, one new, and want to connect them in parallel.
Should I connect the negative to the second battery B- or to the P- ?
And does it make a big difference ?
Will each battery's BMS take care of its own and not interfere with the second battery...
My 3kw generic 24 volt inverter shuts off when the SCC approaches full charge on the batteries. Usually the shut off only lasts 20 to 30 seconds and the inverter comes on again.
This is a continual cycle until a big load is applied or half the solar panels are turned off manually, which is my...
Can I use these new high power panels with my existing setup?
All-in-one inverter /charger accepts up to 50 amps.
All 12v system. 4 panels at 300 watt each, 200 amp/hr lead acid battery, PWM charger built in to charge at 20 amps max and a little Honda generator for the evenings...

I have 4 280-watt panels for my 24v system... what sort of charging current should I be getting?
I only see 30 volts and around 200 to 300 watts on the MPPT, morning and midday...
This gives 8 to 10 amps charging current, which does charge my LIPO batteries in about 6 hours (to 90%), but I...
Can I mix 90 Ahr and 100 Ahr cells in my 24volt pack ?
Or will this just give me balancing problems ?
Alternatively, parallel 90Ahr pack with 100 Ahr pack ?
Paralleling LIPO batteries - How?
I have two sets of 24v 90A/hr batteries, one old, one new, and want to connect them in parallel.
Should I connect the negative to the second battery B- or to the P- ?
And does it make a big difference ?

Is it possible to revive a LIPO cell with no voltage ?
It was drained by a BMS down to 1.6 volts before I noticed anything amiss.
Cheap 100 amp/hr battery from Varicore/Littokala.
One of my newish 90 A/HR LIPO4 has blown the pressure release and is indicating 0.57 volts only...
Completely scrap ?
And never happened to me before, so I have little idea why (apart from faulty cell presumably).
Anyone suggest causes ?
I have a 12 volt 200 amp/hr LIPO battery bank (DIY) which I use for emergency back up in the house (lights, fan and TV only) when the grid goes off... - can I use it for emergency starting my car ?
Would the 20 amp wires be enough ?
