Thank you- my si5048 is older and does not have a lithium option, only VRLA. I will look into changing the nominal voltage setting as you suggest. It might also be possible to upgrade my si firmware to gain access to a lithium option. The si says “2006” when it boots so it’s an older one...

That makes sense - that you could get unwanted shutdowns from temporary voltage sag when under a heavy load- and soc based shutdown could avoid this. Still prefer being able to turn off soc based “protection” but doesn’t seem possible.
