Ok I have no idea what i am doing
I have 8 Panels rated power (Watts) 64
Operating Voltage (Volts) 16.5
Open Current (amps) 3.88
open circuit voltage (volts) 23.8
Will this work for a 24 volt system?
I don't know if this helps? But you can get 12,24,48 volt well pump. Mine is 24volt I set the pressure on the grid pump to 30 on 50 off
and set the 24volt pump to 25 on 50 off. I connected it direct to the battery. That way I don't need to use an inverter/converter the way I see it less things...
OK I checked and the other scc by Bougerv does work with lead-acid and user select the ad that I was reading was wrong.
But I bought an EPEVER 40A MPPT 4210an. I think I have almost everything I need to start. I did get a 24 volt windmill
and bought as much as I could from will. By the way...
OK I am looking to get batteries. found some 1100 cc 950cca 6v industrial tractor batteries for $50 each or 1050cc 750 cca 12v marine for $75
What is better the 6v or 12v and can you mix batteries like four 6v and two 12v running a 24 volt system
OK cool thanks! The wires on the panels were cut so I will need to add new ones. thanks for the link I was looking for something like that.
I was going to get 10 awg wire. the panels will be about 25 feet away from the controller.
OK so I found this controller at Bougerv its an mppt 40 amp 12/24 for $119 and I guess its made by srne solar Do you think that this would handel what I have. sorry totally new at this. Or could someone suggest a good mppt around $150 40 to 60 amp

OK I talk to this guy that had a warehouse full of ni-cad hybrid batteries. he wants $5 per cell
I will ask him again but he even gave me a link to the types of cars that use them and what they were.
Any way I think I am just going to go with marine batteries because I am just planning on...
Does anyone no of a good cheap mppt charge controller for a 100 amp 12/24 volt system.
At the moment I have one of the ebay blue fake mppt controllers. I bought 8 old panels and he gave me the controller.
I am just getting started.
Does will have a link for these connectors
25Pairs / 50PCS Solar Connectors - Male & Female IP67 Waterproof Connector
And for the ones that go in the back of the panel (Cable Gland) I think it is a 3/4 hole
