The cycle count resets if you change the cell count or cell capacity. In my experience, you don't even need to change the numbers. Just click ok on either of them (after entering the password so the buttons are not greyed-out, obviously).
I get a similar issue. Mine is in a small electric car. It goes into UVP randomly, then after UVPR it is at 0% despite the voltage indicating a charge of >80%.
My BMS also has a glitch: After it goes into undervoltage protection for one of my 15 cells, the SOC drops to 0%. I then have to manually set the pack capacity to a different number and set it back again and then the SOC goes up again.
Normal behaviour after UVP should be that it goes back to...
A bit more context. It is the JK BMS B2A20S20P-Heat-CAN. It used to work perfectly. The batteries are fine, but it now always shows 0% and a high cycle count. When I connect the charger, it runs up to 99% within seconds and it runs down equally fast once it is disconnected again.
I now tried to...
My BMS worked fine until recently. Now, the cycle count shows over 9000 rather than 16 or so. The percentage drops from 99% to 0% within seconds but the batteries are fine. What would you do?
I have got the small LCD for a JK BMS and once used an RS485 converter with it and only three of the 6 wires were required.
Now, I want to convert it back and I am not sure how the wires need to go. Does anyone know?
I have seen the diagram on the other post.
The first three that I soldered...
