Arc fault circuit interrupt and RSD functionality are really important for this one. RSD in the manual looks confusing but I'm planning on using tigo optimizer so really just need to know how to wire a "button" for the RSD initiation outside by the meter . With no UL-1699B certificate in...

I see the test data in your screenshots which seems promising. I don't know where you see that though. To clarify, I only see the letter from intertek on eg4's website which lacks UL-1699B (Linked from signature solar's product page)...

Thanks! That makes sense. Wish it was clearer from intertek somehow or they would just list it as well. but I'm guessing the inspector or plan review would go just fine then.

That would be great! The R8KLNA (8k hybrid) cert from sgs included UL-1699B but the 18kpv-12lv cert/atm from intertek excluded it. No idea how common it is to see enforced/checked but I'm assuming i need some sort of documentation if it gets questioned in permitting / inspection. (I also need...

I don't see UL-1699B listed in the ATM/certifications. Is that going to be available?

Install manual shows it outside but I think it needs to be covered from rain/snow/runoff so not rain proof. With the 12k presumably as the "old version" or "based on" model. Manual+specs are pretty much identical other than branding at first glance. Didn't see any added info for RSD or AFCI...
  • Post in thread: EG4 18kPV - Proper T Fuse between Battery Rack and 2 x 18kPVs in Parallel

If you use 2x sets of 2/0 battery cables from one battery bank mentioned you could use 4x fuses close to the bus bars to protect all four conductors just to be paranoid in case one conductor comes loose. If you have separate bus bars / battery banks on each 2/0 circuit you'd want 1 fuse per...
