I parse the data coming out and feed to influx/grafana for viewing.
don't know if it supports setting anything, I'll have to read up on what it's doing.
chins responded - super quick. will give this a try tomorrow when the sun comes up...
1: Please use 36V solar photovoltaic panels to directly charge the battery. When the battery voltage reaches about 22V, the battery's BMS will be activated. (You can also use 24V solar photovoltaic panels to...
Chins 24v 150ah battery 1 year and 2 months old - connected to an MPP hybrid LV2424. Been working great for over a year. Low sun time of the year so hybrid inverter has been doing its thing to switch to utility to charge (LVD set for 22.8 - well above the Chins BMS) when not enough solar...
I'm also trying to figure this out.. some bad weather approaching and I'd like to have utility charge up the battery in the event we lose power here (it's cloudy today so PV charging is not so good). I have the following setting, disconnect PV and then turn off switch and then power back on and...
Was able to rewire my array to send just one panel down to the battery. BMS reset after about 10 mins. Back up and running. Thank you everyone!
My LVD on the LV2424 is set for 22.8. Might increase that a bit more to prevent this from happening again or reduce load during the winter.
oops, 05: blU - battery first
I'm in Hawaii and while you'd think we'd get a lot of sun, i'm on the windward side of the island up against a 2500 foot mountain so we get a lot of rain and afternoons are very shady (mountain shade + cloud cover). Just got my system up and running at the end of...
agree on WatchPower. I have a raspberry pi plugged into the usb port and using a python script to pull data. All configs done through front panel (which does mean I need to walk out to the inverter to change things).
