That's is the attraction to using the GridBoss as it allows a cost effective way to mount the FlexBoss remotely in the barn as the cost for the conductors would be much less. Plus it gets the inverter out of the sun and the batteries indoors and into a warmer area for Wintertime.

It's the utility not my AHJ that is requiring the change... This is the comment from my utility... -Please make it clear that the AC disconnect is a blade style, has a visible open, lockable/taggable AC disconnect. Breaker style disconnects are not acceptable per the Interconnection Procedures.
