I bought the 100ah Power Queen Premium after watching a youtube video by John Daniel on it. I haven't really had a chance to exercise it yet, so the jury is still out, but so far it is working.
If I buy a victron charge controller, and it is very close to my battery, will it provide battery monitoring, or do I still need to purchase a separate battery monitor? Basically I just want to know generally how charged the battery is. I'm not worried about super accuracy.
Thank you! As small as my camper is, 40 amps seems plenty. I'm not sure I could get more than a few more panels on top.
What are your thoughts on the existing converter? Is it safe to leave as is? I would prefer to spend the money on more panels/battery rather than the converter.
I'm completely open to suggestions on other brands/models. I do like the idea of being able to monitor the battery with Bluetooth, so that would be a plus.
