4S 12V BMS for me (built in to a off the shelf 60 Amp/hr drop in replacement battery.)
I got mine to unbrick by opening up the case and unplugging the cell balance and temp sensor leads. I also unbolted the Neg cable to the cells and left it disconnected for 5 mins.
On reconnection, all works...
