Thank your for your help. I don't really understand though. Why does my 7.5KW inverter show 6KW of output near it's limit whilst my mate who has an 8KW model shows 8KW at peak?

When it's generating 6KW and I turn on a pump that's draws about 1000W it still generates 6KW.
