Background
Software engineer by trade with something of a closet Electrical Engineering background. Not my first venture by any means into digital electronics or mains-level power but, as mentioned above, this is my first venture into solar / utility-scale power. In short: very technical and never to proud to ask for help, especially when working with roast-human power levels.
Current or Future Solar Power System
None, looking to get started with a basic hybrid setup likely featuring the new Sol-Ark 15k (I have been lurking the forums for a bit now). The long-term plan is to get the entire house on an off-grid setup, but with a grid-tie option just in case (hence the hybrid design). For now, though, looking to get a basic setup going for my office so that I can "ring out" any issues before expanding.
