I have a Schneider 6048 inverter and 80-600 charge controller. The battery bank is eight 8D AGM 280 Fullriver batteries that are 6 years old and starting to fail. I want to change the batteries to eight dumb (as in not smart) Ecoworthy 8D 280 Lithium Phosphate batteries. I am an avid DIYer...
The current bank is wired in series to achieve 48V. The inverter has an equalizer. I do not use it for the AGMs but could enable it for the Lofepo4 batteries.
I would love more battery capacity so will probably go for 1:1 replacement. Thanks for the battery equalizer tip. I will research and see what I can find.
