If you use a separate battery BAT1 to charge DeltaPro via MTTP/car input, doesn't mean you double the number for batteries discharges, shorten the life of both batteries ?
Example : power a 1000W consumer for 3h
- DeltaPro capacity 3KWh
- BAT1 capacity 3KWh
- empty DeltaPro to power...
Well ... it turn out ok for me in the end:
- I've asked global Ecoflow support to repair the unit since the right to repair came with the product
- They send me a UPS return label prepaid
- I've send the DeltaPro with UPS to the repair center from Germany (took ~1week)
- They repair the broken...
Well ... unfortunately I can fully confirm your statements now: I broke my solar charging MPPT board by mistake while trying to replace my old PV array with a new PV array.
I've posed my story on a dedicated warranty thread here...
I have the same issue with a DeltaPro European version.
I've charged it with a PV1 string of 6x175W (6x23.7Voc=142.2Voc) and worked great.
This week I tried to replace PV1 string with a new PV2 string of 3x350W (3x44.2Voc=132.6Voc) in order to save space.
I made two big mistakes while working...
I own two European versions of DeltaPro and tried over-paneling:
- over-voltage to 160V : solar charging is not starting
- over-current to 18A : solar charging is not starting
My conclusion on DeltaPro are the followings:
- is not suited for over-paneling/over-current : not so good
- is very...
I've contacted Ecoflow support.
They say it's because Growatt is pulling more that 230V out of Ecoflow (overvoltage) when 1KW+ consumers are connected to Growatt.
Also, there is no way to force/configure Growatt not to pull more than 230V from the Utility.
Growatt manual says it can take up to...
I Growatt manual "Line Mode Specification" table says:
- Nominal Input Voltage : 230Vac
- Nominal Input Frequency : 50Hz/60Hz
It does not say anything about Nominal Input Current. When you say "growatt is designed for nearly twice the amperage than what the eco flow can provide." it means...
DeltaPro is a portable grid-centric back-up solution with week solar charging potential.
I'm using it as a backup with success, but it has many limitations.
What I need now is a solid off-grid solution with a more capable solar charging potential.
Let's talk more about solving technical problem...
I'm trying to use an Ecoflow DeltaPro Europe Edition as generator for Growatt SPF5000 48v.
- DeltaPro can output 3600W at 230V/15A.
- Growatt has a 3KW PV solar string but no batteries
- I don't want to invest in a dedicated set of batteries for Growatt
- I want to use DeltaPro battery/PV...
It's happening only when:
- Growatt ac-in is plugged/connected into DeltaPro outlet/output
- a consumer (hair dryer, boiler, washing machine, electric oven) with rated power between 1KW-3KW is plugged into Growatt outlet/output
I don't understand the error message "inverter overvoltage...
I'm having a DeltaPro European version.
It's having 4outlets 220-240V at 3600W/230V = 16A
Don't know about any 30A AC output.
Growatt is connected to one DeltaPro outlet.
One consumer 1KW + is connected to Growatt output.
Error message is "Overloaded 104" on DeltaPro
With or without X-Boost...
If anyone is interested on this story ending ... is not working properly :
- I bought the Growatt SPF 5000ES
- I bought a 2KW string and connected to Growatt PV
- I've set up Growat in SUB mode (or SOL mode)
- I've connected the DeltaPro AC-OUT to Growatt AC-IN via a 3x4mm2 electrical cable (an...
I found answers in another thread : https://diysolarforum.com/threads/how-does-the-ups-function-of-ecoflow-delta-pro-affects-solar-charging-and-running-apliances.35282/#post-544244
In Growatt manual at page 18 : Program 1 , Setting "SUB priority" : will mix AC from PV with AC from Utility to power loads.
Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority.
If solar energy is not sufficient to power all connected loads, solar and
utility will power loads at the same...
