Got a 150a 48v JBD 2 days ago. Installed yesterday. LiFePO4 had been running without BMS for 5 months. Totally balanced in the first charge cycle. Like the gui as well. Extremely adjustable for just about anything you want to adjust. Easy install, too. Fired up right away with no issues...
Thanks for all the input. Leaning toward 2 battery packs in parallel. I recall Will Prowse stating in a video back when that 2 in parallel would work, but no more than 2. Wondering why the Daly rep was so insistent on the 2p 16s configuration. Have become somewhat disappointed with Daly...

I bought the 280ah LiFePO4 from Shenzhen Xuba Electronics thru alibaba. $82.67 x 16pcs = $1322.72. Slow boat shipping to the Philippines (got a break there0 $112. Total 1434.72 Daly 150a BMS $140 shipping included. Total 1574.72. 13.44kwh. $117.17/kwh. In service for 8mo+ months. So far so good.

Rank beginner. 16s 48v 280a LiFePO4 prismatic. Intend to bottom balance with Cellmeter 8, 8 cells at a time and the connect in 16s. Remove the balance wires and run. Check manually every few days and then if no issues every 6 months or so. Average charge 60a. Average discharge less than 10a...
